City of Elberon will be enforcing the Junk Vehicle Ordinance. Letters about the enforcement went out on Friday April 25th. On May 5th will be sending out the abatement forms starting on the east side of town. On May 27th we will exercise our right to have them towed out of town. If you have a junk vehicle but don’t have a way to get rid of it you may call Wilson Towing at 641-484-3215.

We are working on getting Bids for the Streets the companies that we’ve talked to will not be able to give us anything until June to allow the streets to dry out. We need to keep the Semi’s and Tractors off the streets. With them being so soft the semis and tractors are causing more damage. Our street ordinance states that Semi’s and Tractors are only allowed on 5th Ave. and Railroad Street.

Anyone that has an issue in town please bring it to the City Council meeting to be heard by the whole council. Council meetings are the 1st Monday of every month.
